[Feature] Make it easier to add User-defined languages
Reported by Jocelyn Legault | October 28th, 2009 @ 10:03 PM
The Problem
Currently, adding a user level language requires the user to
either
a) define his own with the "User Define Dialog" (which is already
something) or
b) edit the 'userDefineLang.xml' found in C:\Documents and
settings\<user>\Application
Data\Notepad++\userDefineLang.xml
Neither of these solution is ideal.
The proposed solution
The proposed solution would read any *.xml
file
from a udd-lang
directory (or whatever the name) from
both the Application Data
folder and the installed
directory and would attempt to load languages in these files.
Adding a user defined language would then just be a matter of drag
and drop.
